Chelsea forward could be recalled with Abraham likely to stay at Villa

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi continues to be linked with an early return to Stamford Bridge.

El Gol Digital reports that the Belgian could make a move back to London during the January market as his loan move to Valencia fails to show any signs of taking off.

Batshuayi joined the La Liga outfit on a season-long loan over the summer but the move has not gone to plan.

The report claims that Valencia are looking to strengthen in the final third during the January window with neither Kevin Gameiro and Batshuayi managing to impress.

It is yet to be seen if the player could break into Maurizio Sarri’s plans at Chelsea after being moved on over the summer.

The Blues have already held talks over the possibility of recalling Tammy Abraham in the new year, but Batshuayi could also be an option for the Italian head coach, with Alvaro Morata still struggling in front of goal.
