West Ham United face Crystal Palace this weekend and have been dealt a couple of injury blows this week to add to the ever-growing list of absentees at training at Rush Green.
The big one is of course the injury to Marko Arnautovic, who has picked up a hamstring injury which is expected to keep him sidelined until 2019 at the earliest, ruling him out of the hectic festive period of fixtures.
Jack Wilshere, who returned from ten weeks out last weekend against Newcastle, was left out of the 3-1 win over Cardiff on Tuesday as a precaution following a hit he took to his right ankle in training. He will miss out against Palace this weekend.
Fabian Balbuena was also left out of the starting eleven for the midweek win, though he was on the bench, after suffering a dead leg against Newcastle. Aaron Cresswell was also injured for the midweek win and again, he is not going to make the game this weekend either.
Elsewhere on the injury front, Andriy Yarmolenko is expected to miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on his Achilles, while Carlos Sanchez is also out for the season with a …read more
