West Ham keeping tabs on player likely to command a significant transfer fee – report

West Ham United may have to head into the transfer market this January as doubts continue to remain over their star man.

Marko Arnuatovic could leave The Hammers this winter amid reports that a £35million bid had been rejected earlier in the week.

However, despite their refusal to sell, it appears West Ham are considering their options and are looking at a possible replacement for the Austria international.

And, according to a report by The Daily Mail, AFC Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson is thought to be a person of interest.

The striker has been in good form for The Cherries this season and was rewarded with his England debut in the previous international window.

However, Bournemouth are under no pressure to sell their star man, which could mean West Ham will need to splash out a significant amount of money if they were to try and sign him.

Wilson has been earning rave reviews for his performances at Bournemouth this season and it is no surprise that there is interest in him.
