Swansea City are keen to sign Chelsea youngster Kyle Scott this month after the player rejected a move to Italy.
According to Football Insider, the Championship side are admirers of Scott and are looking to add him to their ranks for the second half of the season.
Scott had been attracting interest in Italy’s second tier after impressing at Dutch side Telstar.
Serie B outfit Ascoli were keen to wrap up a deal for Scott, but the report claims that the player would prefer the idea of returning to the UK and playing closer to home.
Swansea are not believed to be alone in their pursuit of the player, with a number of Championship sides also making enquiries to sign him.
Scott remains highly regarded at Chelsea, but it is hard to envisage a long-term future for the player at Stamford Bridge, with chances coming few and far between for younger players.
