Chelsea forward hails Eden Hazard as better than Bale and Mbappé

By Elliott Cuff Chelsea winger Pedro believes Eden Hazard is closing in on Lionel Messi as one of the best players in world football, ranking him above the likes of Gareth Bale and Kylian Mbappé. The Belgian playmaker has long been considered one of the best talents in world football, but he has seemingly never been able to hit the heights that others have managed. However, Blues teammate Pedro, who also played alongside Messi for Barcelona in multiple Champions League winning sides, claims the 27-year is closer to the Argentine superstar than many believe. Talking about Hazard, who has already scored five Premier League goals this season, Pedro said, as reported by the Metro: It is obvious that Eden Hazard is in the three, four players that are the best in the world like Leo, Cristiano Ronaldo , Neymar, Eden. West Ham man Noble singles out Chelsea star for praise

By Luke Osman West Ham midfielder Mark Noble has hailed Eden Hazard as “one of the best” players he’s come up against. Speaking to the London Evening Standard, as quoted by West Ham’s official club website, Noble looked ahead to his side’s home clash against Chelsea this weekend and hailed Hazard. We’re looking forward to playing Chelsea on Sunday, the form team in the Premier League at the moment with the form player, Eden Hazard. When you’re up close and personal though, I would say that Eden is one of the best I’ve played against. He’s so strong, so quick, he’s sharper in the mind than most and in all honesty, he can often do whatever he wants to do out there on the pitch, despite all your efforts to try and stop him. He’s a pleasure to watch but not really a pleasure to play against! The Blues will be keen to extend their winning run to seven competitive fixtures in a row, as they look to maintain their perfect start to the new season. West Ham, meanwhile, will be out to build on their first win of the campaign. After a treacherous start to the season, they were able to defeat Everton 3-1 away from …read more

Chelsea linked with swoop for impressive Brazilian forward

By Luke Osman Ajax star David Neres has emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea, according to a report from Calciomercato. The Brazilian attacker has been catching the eye since he completed a switch to Ajax following an impressive season in his homeland with Sao Paulo. Neres, formerly a Brazil U20 international, is an integral part of Ajax’s first-team plans but has seemingly been eyed up by potential suitors from across Europe, with Chelsea the latest side to be linked. The 21-year-old, who can play all across the front three, has netted on one occasion in his opening four Eredivisie fixtures this season, with Ajax enjoying a strong start to the campaign. Neres has previously been heavily linked with a move to the top-flight of English football but has remained at Ajax, with the winger continuing to develop under the tutelage of Erik ten Hag. However, as he continues to impress in the Netherlands, it seems Chelsea have been left interested by the prospect of making a move in the near future.
