Liverpool are keeping an eye on the progress of Napoli star Piotr Zielinski. Notwithstanding not being a starting IX regular player under Maurizio Sarri, the young Poland international has managed to display some of the impressive performances and has achieved to make 23 appearances, while netting 4 goals. While Napoli are the leading team in the Serie A standings, 23-year-old has only managed to play in the starting lineup for five times. He will surely be craving to improve upon this statistics and could consequently be open to leaving Naples. Zielinski was reportedly one of the players who Jurgen Klopp intended to sign when he succeeded Brendan Rodgers as the Reds manager. Nevertheless, in the end, a deal did not go through as the Anfield club did not want to pay the £13million which Udinese demanded. Nonetheless, it is doubtful that Napoli will let the player leave comfortably, notably as manager Sarri lately referred to him as “the next Kevin de Bruyne”. The Polish talent is a central midfielder but is capable of playing on the left-wing. Zielinski could be a replacement for Emre Can perhaps? Jurgen Klopp's side has Naby Keita coming in so the Napoli midfielder will have to provide quality performance [...]

More Liverpool will be hoping to distance themselves from a reasonably worrying theme so far this season, which has seen them fall at a number of hurdles following euphoric victories, when they welcome West Ham United to Anfield on Saturday. In the immediate fixture after wins over Arsenal and Manchester City, and their 7-0 thrashing of Maribor, Jurgen Klopp's outfit came unstuck against the Citizens, Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur respectively, as well as being dumped out of the FA Cup by... David Moyes has never won in 14 visits to Anfield as manager, losing seven and drawing seven, and his prospects of guiding West Ham to back-to-back league victories for the first time since December 2016 appear slim given the sensational form of Liverpool's forwards, fresh from a warm-weather training trip to Marbella. Mohamed Salah has scored 17 goals in his last 16 league appearances and in each of Liverpool's past five games. Daniel Sturridge was the last Liverpool forward to score in six successive outings back in February 2014. Roberto Firmino is enjoying his most prolific season in English football and Sadio Mané's last outing brought a hat-trick against Porto. Reasons to be fearful for West Ham. Liverpool go into Saturday's clash with West Ham unbeaten at Anfield in their last 15 and have the chance to end the weekend second in the Premier League, should results go their way. However, while David Moyes does not have a favourable record against the Reds, Jurgen Klopp will not be taking anything for granted against a Hammers side who have lost just once in the league in 2018. Here's how Liverpool could line up for this one. After being backed as Klopp's number choice for the rest of... [...]

Liverpool are prepared to rival the Gunners in the race to sign under-fire Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema during the summer transfer window. The Los Blancos are ready to offload the 30-year-old forward, who has endured a torrid campaign at Santiago Bernabeu scoring only three goals in La Liga.. France international has struggled in front of goal, and with Real planning, a massive squad overhaul for the next season Benzema could be sold. Zinedine Zidane has fought his compatriot's corner, however, the Royals president Florentino Perez is reported to be selling him whether Frenchman remains in charge of the Los Blancos. Arsenal have long been linked with a move for Benzema as Arsene Wenger is a fan. But now according to the Don Baloon Liverpool have joined the race and ready to hijack a move for his signature this summer. The Reds head-coach would apparently pay up to £35m at the end of the current campaign. Alongside with Benzema another Real Madrid star Marco Asensio has been rumoured with a switch to Premier League. [...]

Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld's contract impasse with the Spurs hierarchy looks likely to see the Belgian depart this summer, according to reports. The Times claimed on Friday that Alderweireld and the club are around £40,000-a-week apart in their negotiations, with Spurs now willing to let the star leave rather than break their notoriously rigid wage structure. The Belgian centre-half is currently on a weekly wage of £50,000, and is reportedly determined to treble his current wage... [...]

Real Madrid have blocked Dani Ceballos transfer to Liverpool in January according to the reports from Spain. The Merseyside Reds opted to sell Brazilian playmaker, Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in a second world-record £142 million deal last month and were in the market for his replacement. AS Monaco refused to sell Thomas Lemar, while Liverpool agreed to sign Naby Keita from Leipzig who will join the club next season. However, according to Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, The Merseyside Reds were also trying to sign Real Madrid starlet Ceballos. However, their efforts were rejected by the Los Blancos. The report suggested that the player himself wanted to join Jurgen Klopp's side and a transfer could go through this summer. Spaniard has joined Real Madrid last summer in a £14.5 million deal from Real Betis but has failed to secure regular first-team football under Zinedine Zidane. Reports have claimed that tensions between Ceballos and the Los Blancos head-coach were raised even further on Wednesday evening after the Spaniard was brought on for just 29 seconds in the 3-1 victory over Leganes.
