Shrewsbury Town are interested in signing Wolves' Niall Ennis on loan according to a report from the Express & Star. The 18-year-old striker is highly rated by the youth coaches at Wolves and it is believed that he will be able to break into the first team later down the line. However while he has been around the first eleven for the last year, the new signings that Wolves are making are pushing him down the pecking order and will limit his chances of getting those crucial appearances. That means Wolves are willing to let him leave on loan. They know that at this stage of his career, Ennis needs first team football to grow as a player so he can become a regular at Molineux later down the line. And it appears that he will be making a very short move to Shrewsbury so he can get those appearances so he can become a better player. The Shrews are openly looking for a new striker, their head coach Paul Hurst has admitted as much, and Ennis looks like the ideal option. While he hasn't played much competitive football and it may take him some time to get up to speed, it is [...]

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been one of the busiest Sky Bet Championship clubs in the league so far this summer, with a new manager and a whole host of players arriving at Molineux already. The ‘Black Country' club had a disappointing season last time out, finishing 15th, and never looked close to challenging for promotion or a play-off place. However it could be very different this time round, with some exceptional players opting for a move to the Championship club this summer, as well as former Porto manager Nuno Espirito Santo. I am convinced Wolves should be up there come the end of the season if there new players settle in, and this is how I think they could line up on the opening day against Middlesbrough at home, in a 3-4-3 formation. The post Potential Wolves XI for the opening day of season appeared first on The72. [...]

Wolves have signed Diogo Jota on loan for the season from Atletico Madrid as confirmed by the club website. If it was the Black Country side's aim to make a big splash this summer, they have certainly succeed. They raised eyes all across the world when they completed a deal to sign Ruben Neves from FC Porto for £15m, a player that teams such as Arsenal and Manchester United were said to be interested in. But this isn't the only big name Wolves want to bring to Molineux and they've now completed a deal to sign another high-profile player. They have completed a deal to sign Jota on loan from Atletico Madrid for the season. He worked with Wolves' head coach Nuno Espirito Santo last season when he was out on loan with FC Porto and now he will get a chance to link up with him again as they look to make a push for promotion, something they weren't able to do last season. Following his move to Wolves, Jota said: “I am very excited,” “Wolves is a huge club and an historic club. “It is always a goal for me to play in England and this is a good opportunity for me. “It is [...]
