Date: 23rd September 2017 Kickoff: 12pm UK/ 1pm CET Venue: Ibrox Park Rangers host Celtic this Saturday in what is one of the most anticipated matches in Scottish Football. After a busy summer, both Rangers and Celtic will have their eye on the SPL title this year. Celtic are the current leaders of the SPL and a win for them would keep them top. A loss, however, could see 2nd place Aberdeen overtake them. Rangers are currently third and a win for them could see them move to 2nd in the league. A loss could also see them move as low as 7th. Rangers Rangers had a huge overhaul of their squad in the summer. They signed over 10 first team players and let go of nearly as many. However, despite the huge change in personal Rangers are already behind Celtic in the table. They have already lost this season and find themselves five points behind league leaders Celtic. Despite the point gap, Caixinha believes his side can beat Celtic on Saturday even with the injuries they have. Saturday's game is also not Caixinha's first Rangers match vs Celtic. He was the manager when they were smashed 5-1 by Celtic at the end of last season. However, Caixinha believes [...]

Rangers have a huge clash this weekend, as they welcome fierce rivals Celtic at the Ibrox for the first Old Firm clash of this season. The Teddy Bears have endured a rough Scottish League Cup match this midweek, against Patrick Thistle. Rangers had to work hard for their hard-fought win over the Jags. However, the Scottish giants will be hopeful, against a Celtic side, who also have a key Champions League fixture against Anderlecht next week. Here's the predicted Rangers lineup to feature against their fierce rivals this weekend. Goalkeeper: Second choice keeper Jan Ainwick feature in the midweek fixture against Patrick Thistle. He will be replaced by the first choice Wes Fotheringham this weekend. The 26-year-old hasn't had a great start to the campaign and will be looking to make amends against Celtic. Right Back: James Tavernier will start as the right back on Saturday. The English fullback was beaten in the air for Thistle's equalizer. He'll be looking for a better performance this time around. Center Back(R): Fabio Cardoso struggled in the game against Thistle. But the fans will hope that the Portuguese defensive partnership can lead them to a clean sheet against the high-octane Celtic attack. Center Back(L): Rangers' cup victory against [...]

Celtic has been in fine form this season. Sitting at the top of the table, Brendan Rodgers' men have a crunch game this weekend against eternal rivals Rangers on Saturday. The Celts walloped their fierce rivals 5:1 in their last meeting in April and will be hoping for more of the same this weekend, as they aim to extend their lead at the top. But that being said, a confident Rangers side is capable of producing a huge upset if Celtic are not careful. Here's the predicted 4-2-3-1 lineup from Brendan Rodgers' men to lineup in the Old Firm derby. Goalkeeper: Craig Gordon will start in between the sticks for Celtic. The Scottish International has been in great form this season, managing 10 clean sheets in 15 competitive matches this campaign. Right Back: Brendan Rodgers made quite a lot of changes in their midweek clash against Dundee and resting fullback Anthony Ralston was one of them. The 18-year-old will feature as the right back for the Celts against Rangers. Center Back(R): Jozo Simunovic will feature in the centre of the defence. The 23-year-old Bosnian will be tasked with stopping the attacking threat from Alfredo Morelos. Center Back(L): Mikael Lustig has been the defensive mainstay for [...]
